Lemon Cream Cheese Bars

Ingredients
2 (8 ounce) packages of crescent roll dough
3 Lemons
2 (8 ounce) packages of cream cheese
1/2 Cup White Sugar
3 Tablespoons Butter

Get to Baking…
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking pan with aluminum foil.
Spray foil with Pam cooking spray.
Place crescent roll dough on the foil.
Zest and juice two lemons.
With a mixer, blend 16 ounces of cream cheese, 1/2 cup white sugar, and the zest and juice of 2 lemons.
Spread over dough.
Place crescent roll dough over the cream cheese mixture.
Brush 3 tablespoons of melted butter over the dough layer.
Zest another lemon.  You will not be using the juice of this lemon.
Mix the lemon jest and 3 tablespoons sugar together, then sprinkle over the melted butter.
Bake about 30 minutes.  The top should be a light golden brown
Cool for about 30 minutes.
Lift the entire dessert from the baking dish using the foil
Cut into squares, leaving on foil.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
